sand sifting crabs?

I am looking at putting together a U-build it and I was wondering if sand sifting crabs are reef safe? I have a dsb and think these would be cool, but not if they eat everything in my dsb. Any expirence with these little guys?

sand shifting crabs re cool but i dont know if they damage ur sand bed, probobly they do, but i like creatures live in sand like crabs, gobys, jawfish, pistols, snails, worms, stars, urchins, anemones, corals... because something that comes suddenly from the sand is interesting i think, i love them all
