Sand Sifting Starfish

Hello,
I just got my Sand Sifting Starfish home from LPS and I'm having trouble deciding if he is doing OK or not. Dripped him for about 1:30Mins and then scoped him in. Since that he is still sitting in the same spot and his fins have moved very little if any.
I guess my question is how active are they?

Are the arms falling apart?
what are your specific tank parameters? Seastars are very delicate animals, and need precise parameters...even if conditions are perfect for fish. In particular, a mature tank (at least 6 months old) and specific gravity of 1.025-1.026.
I do not recommend sand sifter stars as nearly all will starve to death in the majority of hobbyist tanks within 12 to 18 months :(
