Well, there are different burrowing type fish out there, the only one that I can think of that would look kinda like a worm is a Garden Eel, but unless you have a 6 inch or deeper sandbed, I wouldnt do it. There are other things like Jawfish that burrow, but you can also get types of Gobies that Sandsift, which I think would actually help your substrate more. A good one is a Sleeper Banded Goby, but only one as I believe they will get territorial and fight with their own kind. That is my advice, but just wait to see what others say too as I am no means a pro at this. ;)

i was thinking of the jaw fish i knew what they were just couldn't think of the name for nothing! i figure they're not the best at stirring up the sand bed, but i think they're cool. i don't wanna get a goby for one they are jumper's and i have a lot of corals on my sand bed and don't want them disturbed by sand sifting gobie's.

Convict worm gobies or engineer gobies. The convict worms are really, really neat in my opinion and seem to stay a little smaller.
One word of caution. They move alot of sand, alot......and they put it where "they" want it. If your rockwork is tall or not firmly stacked and secured, I would be very careful.
