Just curious, are there certain brands or types of sand i should lean towards or stay away from? I am replacing half of my sand bed tomorrow to combat a massive algae attack and was wondering if anyone had any advice. also, i like the look of a finer whiter sand but i am open to any suggestions you may have. also, do certain types carry excess materials that i dont want to be introduced into my tank?
