What type of sand should I use in my tank. I'm not looking to spend alot, and will have some live rock in the tank. I would like very fine sand with a little crushed coral here and there. How much is a good price for 20 lbs?

If you don't want to spend alot, live sand is out. Quickrete and southdown make play sand that I have heard good things about, but personally haven't used. Bo

ls is a joke, yes a dn a very funny one, i laugh everytime i hear about it, to the point i really wanna get some more, ls is a great tool, unfortunately expensive but worht it, if you can afford it, IMO
now, using lr and some other sand will eventually work, but takes much longer to cycle wiht, b/c you have no bacteria on the sand at first, so youhave to grow it
