sandsifter?

I purchased a dragon goby 2wks ago and it was killed by my lunar wrasse and my dominoe damsel.
I figured it was picked on due to the resemblance in the shape in comparisson with the wrasse. Last night I purchased a diamond goby and it was eaten by my Picaso Trigger. My sand is not as clean as I would like. Any recommendations on what to try next.

I suggest that you check out the aggresive set up board. You will have little luck adding passive fish with what you have. At this point they are just very expensive food for your wrasse and trigger.

Any good sand cleaners that you add like stars or conchs will be killed by your trigger fish.

I guess some of those fish aren't having much fun :( You have an agressive tank..quit adding passive fish. They don't have a chance.

well what do you recommend for the sand, sometimes trial and error works well I have had some delicate butterflies in the same tank with my clown trigger. I am willing to try something else, I posted looking for advice and I will take into account not putting anymore passive fishes. THNX anyway but I am sure there is some alternative to my sand-sifting problem.

Try snails. Buy the big ones they have the best chance. Most people perfer Mexican Turbos. I had them in my tank which is aggressive and they lasted pretty long and did a effiecient job.
