sandsifter?

I purchased a dragon goby 2wks ago and it was killed by my lunar wrasse and my dominoe damsel.
I figured it was picked on due to the resemblance in the shape in comparisson with the wrasse. Last night I purchased a diamond goby and it was eaten by my Picaso Trigger. My sand is not as clean as I would like. Any recommendations on what to try next.

What size tank do you have? I move the sand around in my 125 myself and let the filter pick it up, do this every couple days, it is hard to find something that will last if you have aggresive fish. Good Luck

I have a sand star that moves my sand around however I don't have an aggressive tank. You only see him when the lights go out.
my 2 cents

white-legged hermit crab might do it; but it may only roam the front area of the tank;ours has a kind of trench it creates when it goes back & forth

Large hermit.. they are bigger than most fish.. and when they drag their butt... well it makes quite an impression in the sand.. they are about $5.. seem like a good buy.. I love mine.

Agree with the large hermits. Get the biggest you can find. My cousin has 5 in a very aggresive 100galon (puffers, triggers, eel, grouper, snapper).
