Sandstorm

I have a sandstorm in my tank...visibility is zero.
We just moved and I'm in the process of setting my tank back up. I got into the hobby at our last house and used cc from the beginning (LFS advice). Now that I have the chance to start over, I opted for sand. Problem is I put the sand in (before adding water) and now I can't see anything. It's been three days and the dust has barely settled. Today I fired up the filter and powerhead to see if maybe that would help, but it looks like they are just blowing the sand around and making it worse. Any ideas? Keep the equipment turned on? Turn it off? Don't look at it for 2 weeks and hope it clears up by then?
Thanks

Just run the filter. Turn the powerheads off until it clears. It will clear. My 46 gallon took 6 days to clear up.

I would start running your filter with carbon and your water should clear up in a few days.
