Sandstorm

I just put water into my tank last night, I got the salt close then added live sand, I did have a sand storm but it's better this morning, it seems like the sand storm settled all over the inside of the tank and everyplace else, Will that go away?

You might want to invest in a good glass cleaner. The cheapest is probably the mag float. I have several kinds, mag float, tunze care magnet and the Flipper. I like the flipper the best. It costs a bit more but has a stainless steal blade (use with care n glass tanks only) that can be added which is great for scraping coralline off the glass. Any of these will help get the film off the glass from the sand.

Hi,

A NEW (unused, mark it fish only) Turkey baster (use it like a giant eye dropper) blast the sand off the rocks. A Mag float will get anything that settled on the glass.

It will settle down. If it's not real live sand it could take a few days but it will happen once bacteria coats all of the sand grains.
