Well my oldest is 8 and loves our fish.So santa is bringing him a 12 gallon Nano.I figured it might as well be something i know a little about LOL!We can't have cats or dogs due to my 2 year olds allergies. So it's lizards and fish here LOL!So we ordered the 12 gallon Nano Deluxe with 48 watts of PC lighting.I was thinking mushrooms and Zoos. What else can he keep and maybe some some recommendations on fish too?I'm gonna give him a gift certificate so he can order his own stuff. So i was needing ideas on things to persuade him to get LOL!

i think a sixline needs at least 30 gallons and lots of rockwork. i think 3 fish would be too much for the 12g

he could do ric, leathers, shrooms, zoos, xenia, kenya trees, for fish, stick with small, neon gobies, firefish gobies, clown gobies.
in my 12 , i had purple firefish, clown gobie, and flame blenny.

Green Star Polyps, Frogspawn, Yellow Polyps, or Torch coral would be good. I have a clown and royal gramma in my 14G for my 2 year old for the Nemo theme.

Id say get 2 clowns or a clown/bangaii cardinal or something like that. Small and colorful is a good goal. I think 48 watts in a 12g would be enough for xenia and some softies, mushrooms and zoas will be fine. Im not sure because I have a 24g with 32 watt PC daytime and 32 watt PC actinic. Not sure if they would stack to 68 watts but softies should be alrighty. Also I would get some cool shrimp in there too.
