Platygyra Brain Corals, Platygyra sp., also known as Maze Brain Corals or Worm Brain Corals, exhibit intricate and ornate labyrinthine patternings with vibrant color variations of greens, yellow, browns, and grays. Like most other LPS corals, Platygyra brains require moderate waterflow, moderate to high lighting, can be fed meaty foods, and should have a some amount of space between it and its neighbors. Platygyra brain corals can grow fast, especially if fed directly, and can grow massive colonies. The Platygyra brain is a hardy and easy to care for coral making it a great beginner coral.
