scale things

anyone know what these scale-like things are in the front centre of the pic and back left? they came in on a piece of rock and are spreading to other rock and even snail shells.

The white circles? I remember reading that those are a type of snail eggs but can't remember the type.

I have those too, and I do not know what they are either.
I don't think they're eggs, at least not snail eggs. Most of the snails I'm familiar with lay their eggs in masses or sacks.
They've been my tank for several months. They don't hatch, nor do they move, but they are spreading about my tank as well.
I'm curious too...

They are nerite eggs. Google "nerite eggs", and it will give you info on them, can't link the site due to forum rules.
