Scooter Blenny?

Could I have a scooter blenny in a 29 gallon with 45lbs of live rock that has been running for a couple of months? Or should I have the tank up and running for a long before I add one?
Also would a lawnmower blenny be better to have than a scooter? I want the scooter because of they way the scoot across the bottom of the tank and their personalities.
Would you guys suggest something else other than these blennys?

Scooter blennies feed off of copepods. Your tank is too new to have a supply of them yet. They can be trained to eat frozen, but will still get a lot of nutrition from copepods. The lawnmower blenny would be a better choice.

even with the lawn mower blenny if you dont have alot of algee then your going to have to feed it algee of some kind for it to live, and im with sepu with the scooter, i have a 135 gallon with 200 pounds of live rock and im not planning on adding one becuase mandrin/scooters can really tear your population of pods down

If your not feeding them to mandrin/scooters what are you feeding them too or what are you doing with them?

IMHO a 29 gallon tank is too small to support the pods needed for one of these fish regardless of how old the tank is unless you have a 'fuge' and/or are willing to supplement with adding pods.

What about a bicolor or midas blenny? I have a bicolor (couldn't afford the midas) and he has such a personality!
