K i recently bought a scooter dragonet from my LFS. I was told that they were fairly hardy and easy to keep so i bought him. After he was acclimated into my 40 gallon FOWLR he seemed to be doing fine but the next day and on he would just burrow himself into the sand and not move and the next thing i know 4 days later i wake up to see my giant brittle star eatin him up. Anyone have any thoughts why he died? it looked like he was eating but i could be wrong

They are not a very hardy fish, I have had alot of success by starting them out in my Fuge believe it or not! I usually keep them in there for a week or so then move them to the main tank, Like the above post, They need pods to survive!

k well im never listening to my LFS ever again. They told me that they were farily hardy. and this isnt the first thing they have turned out to be wrong again.
Also, new question. i had two neon gobies and a bicolor blenny in the same tank as well. One day theyre doing fine, the next morning one of them disappears, and so on and so forth. Is my Brittle Star sneaking up on them during the night and eatin them? cuz i never found the dead fish?
