Scooter not acting top notch!

I bought my scooter blenny without doing much research, when I first got my tank I did this often. But he is the only fish that has survived a long time. The other two things I did the same with was the sand sifting star, and horseshoe crab, which I think all three eat pods in the sand? Well, now the scooter isn't acting too well. There doesn't seem to be any "Salt sprinkles" on him indicating ich, is it possible he is starving? I really havea feeling I will need to take the HS crab and sand sifting star out. What are your thoughts? And is there anyway to feed the scooter? He is my favorite fish in there, especially because he has outlived everything practically (and that is bad considering I have only had him 4 or 5 months)

Oh yeah, I tested the water about 2 days ago. Salinity is 1.024 (today too), Ph is 8.4 (for some reason been steady, had a problem a few months ago going down to 7.9ish). NitrAte less than 10, I didn't do nitrite, and ammonia 0.

How is he not acting well? What has changed? Do you have a fuge attached to your setup to keep your pod numbers up?

He is really pale, and doesn't move very well. When I noticed him I touched him with the cleaning sponge thing, and he jumped and moved really quick. But he is a really light grey now, normally he is black with lighter markings. No fuge though

I put some plankton, and mysis shrimp in the qt tank when I put him in there (a hermit to clean up what he didn't eat was thrown in too). I really don't know what to feed him, dont they eat pods from the sand? If there is something to feed him, I will be definetely all ears to here opinions, as I want to keep him around
