I have tried multiple times to add Scott's Fairy Cooke Island to my tank with no success. Typically within 30 days, the tail drops and they start using their dorsal fins, then they lose all equilibrium, and then death. I have a Australian, not near as pretty but very healthy.
I have heard a lot of reasons, but always qualified with well I don't know but maybe.....
I would love a pair or single male, if health and could have a nice long life in MT tank (225G). I am not interested in being part of killing more.
