Hi,
I have a 55 gal. tank with 50 LB LR & a 20 lb bag of the LS that comes in the plastic bag.
I want to add some SD sand and am wondering if I should add 1 or 2 50lb bags?

If my LS is alredy in (20lb) and I put a 50lb bag of SD around on top of the LS will that be a problem?
Should I mix it up? As is I put the LS in clumps and the SD on top.
Also it seems the 70lbs of sand total sits about 3 inches deep... is this not enough?
There are lots of little red worms moving around in the sand so I think thats good and the worms are alredy digging up into the SD sand within about an 1hr after adding it ontop.

I have a 55 gallon reef and i used SD as well. I used 3 bags totalling 150 lbs, plus another 20lbs of LS from the LFS. This gave me a nice 5 inch DSB- figured better to go a little over than under.
My tank is 48 inches wide, 12 inches front to back
