I think Sea Apples look so cool and I would love to have one but i've only heard negative things, are these little dudes a bad idea for my tank. A second question...Lettuce Nudibranch does anyone know anything about them, i've had one before and after one day it dissapeared forever, it was probubly eaten. Are they hard to keep and does anything eat them or are they harmful to some other creatures?

Sea Apples- They need lots of food and are pretty temperamental...and if they are too stressed then they release toxins into the water. Really best for their own species tank.
Lettuce Nudibranch- They are very susceptible to being sucked into powerheads. They also need fairly strong light, and lots of bryopsis (hair algae) to live.

Agreed on the above. A sea apple belongs, IMO, in a species tank and should only be kept by experienced hobbyists.
If you do not care about losing all your fish however, then you can keep them. The toxin only kills fish, but a dead cucumber would crash the tank.
