sea clone

Just bought it and it started skimming right away
no tiny bubbles in the tank or nothing. Very happy with it. The stuff it skims smells really bad. Is that normal?

I have a seaclone on my 55 gallon, and it does a good job. The smell is normal. It really stinks when I go to empty the cup. I have to empty it about evey 4 days.

Glad to hear it is working for you.
You are one of the many growing number of people who are happy with the sea clone.
I stood by this product from the first day I tried one, back when it was being bashed by everyone. I am glad I am not alone now.
True the older models did have there problems but these guys got there stuff together and have put together a good product at a resonable price.
And yes the bad smell is normal.
