Hi Friends,
I am a Hatchery Manager of a Sea cucumber Culture Hatchery in Australia.
In recent years Sea cucumber culture farming is an attractive business venture because of high value of the beche de mer. The market for sea cucumbers in Asia is huge and few companies have already tapped into this eco-friendly aquaculture system.
Sea cucumber culture is an eco-friendly aquaculture system because sea cucumber culture does not require artificial feed and antibiotics. More over the sea ranched sea cucumber juveniles doesn’t need any complicated structures or constant attention.
Sea cucumber juveniles can be cultured with shrimps as the sea cucumbers function on different tropic or nutritional level in the same environment. Sea cucumbers are benthic detritus feeders and reduce the bacterial load and improve the water quality.
I am concentrating on the mass culture of commercially valuable sea cucumbers and undertake projects for commercial production and sea ranching.
If you are interested in sea cucumber commercial culture, please don’t hesitate to discuss with me further.
