not really. there are allot of corals that can harm them, and alot of corals they can harm themselves. It's best to keep them in a species tank or fish only most of the time. Reefs and seahorses usually don't go together well.

Where it's not a good idea to keep seahorses in a "reef" tank so to speak, there are a lot of different soft corals that are compatible with horses in a species tank...medium to large horses, that is...not with pygmy or dwarf horses (whole different set of information there, and I DON'T do dwarf horses!!). Those corals would be, but are not limited to, zoas, mushrooms, colt corals, leathers, and I'm sure there are more, but I can't really think of what they would be at this time.
Hope this helps.

Seahorses are best when kept in a species only tank, like Lisa said.. The only coral I have in my pony tank is a corky finder gorgonian.

This being said though, understand that Rykna is keeping dwarf seahorses. As previously stated, the research on these is much more extended because of the dangers some otherwise harmless corals could present to baby dwarf seahorses. The information I posted is based strictly on keeping medium to larger species seahorses.
