sea slug question

well i had gotten a see slug from my lfs yesterday and today my lion was found dead i want to know if this sea slug may have some poison that killed my lion i have had my lion for 5 months know and i dont know what killded it ill put some pic. of the slug can anyone tell me the name of it to its about 1' 1/2

its very possible if the lionfish was fine up until u got the slug. what was the purchase reason for the slug?

how would it kill a lionfish, unless the lionfish ate it? what are your water parameters? is this a camera phone, or is your tank really that cloudy?

probably the lionfish was trying to eat it. but what could hv killed it, since it was healthy up until the sea slug was put in?

is this slug poisones so i could take it back i dont want my other fish to get sick or die
i got the slug the night before next day after work i was going to feed my lion then i found him
my water is perfect

it was the camera my water is clear

The slug uses a toxin for defense. Having it in with an aggressive predator fish like the lion is pitting survival through feeding against defense through the toxin. IMO in this case I think the slug won
