Anybody have one? Anything good or bad? Are they hard to keep? One of the local stores just got one in and it looked cool. Is $99 to much for one?
Thanks
Mike

It is definatly not a zebra there is one of them there also. This thing comes up and breaths at the top of the tank. It is about 3 feet long and about as big around as your thumb.

Yeah, sea snakes are typically really really venomous. But oh well, so are a lot of other cool SW fish. As for price, can't help ya.

haha that's pretty darn cute.
I don't think that's a "Sea Snake" though. I'll try to find a link to one.

What he said. I don't think that would make for a pleasant hobby experience in the long run.

VENOM: Sea snakes are highly venomous, and bites, though rare, are fatal.
If this is in fact a sea snake, do you have a death wish?

I agree. I would be a little cautious to purchase something for $99 that could really do some damage.

It must be a snake eel. This is what it looked like. Are they harmless??? It would be a cool addition to the tank but I already have one snowflake eel already. Thanks for all the info guys.

yes, harmless. but ive heard they are difficult to keep in regards to accepting food and requiring a deep sand bed for digging.
