I just got my 1/2" sea swirl today. Hooked it up and already see stuff floating in the water from dead spots I didn't even know I had. I highly recommend these from what I have seen just in the first few hours. Any comments from others with sea-swirls? Good/bad?

I heard that they will kill all the corals in the tank. I think you should send it to me to avoid this problem. I will idspose of it properly.

Richard....the sea swirls are on my list of future additions. I have intentions of using 4 of them on the 150 I plan to develope. For the most part all I've heard about them has been positive. Plus it seems they continue to modify and improve the product.....good luck with yours.

I've seen the Sea Swirls in action on several tanks.
I want a couple of them as well.
As far as I'm concerned, when you have Sea Swirls installed - you're livin right and not skimping on equipment.
Expensive devices - but I'd guess you get what you pay for on these guys too.
Congrats on your new purchase Richard.

OK as it says I Am a newbie but reading them they sound like a power head. Can someone please explain the difference? I am setting my tank up on the 11th and I want to make sure that i do it right the first time. So if these are needed along with power heads I want to make sure i order them so they get here ontime. Thanks.

So from what I am reading I am not going to have enough flow in my tank from the setup I have chosen right now. ok. SO suggestion then from what i read is to add another pump and two one inch sea swirls? Is this right. Thanks for the article broomer you seem to be the one answering most of the questions around here and know where to find everything. Thanks again.

Mine is in a 54 gallon corner bowfront. It is mounted right in the corner in the back of the tank. I just pointed the nozzle on the sea swirl at a 45 degree angle down. I have a check valve on the line so it doesn't back siphon in a power outage. The pump running it is a Mag 5 (500 GPH). After head pressure, only about 350 GPH.
Is the swallow laden or unladen? Favorite color is blue...no yellow...aaaaggghhh!!!
