Sea Urchin Smoke

dont they release sperm that looks like smoke?
im about positive that they do
but ive never had an urchin. Ive jsut seen that from watching things on animal planet and such.

I was just curious...my tank is healthy...I should post a snap......the smoke is like striny tiny bubbles.....and it sticks to things then......but after a few hours is discipates.

if it is stringy he is most likely dispelling waste.

waste looks like tiny round pellets.
gamete looks like white/clear smoke that immediately gets swept away by water current.
this gamete is excellent food for your corals.
