Sea urchins discharge

so I was just curious...I have 3 urchins, quite often I see my long spine and or pencil urchin shooting out milky discharge...now I'm assuming this is the urchin trying to reproduce...

Does anyone else ever notice there urchins doing this?

Is this a pretty normal thing?

Anyways I was just curious what information anyone may have about this or fun facts anyone cares to share lol

That is urchin poo. Mostly sand.

No no no lol I'm talking about the white ooze that comes out of them not the pellet like poops

Mine just puffs a bunch of sand out. It could be spawning I guess
