If you haven't got it yet, maybe you should reconsider getting something else. I am seriously doubting the effectiveness of this thing. Mine is the newer version (comes in green box)and it supposed to have improvements from the previous versions. But so far, the bubbles just haven't been overflowing into the cup. Heck, it's not even going up half way the tube. I've tried adjusting the airhose in all possible levels and not much has changed. I'm thinking that it just doesn't work or I don't have anything to skim. Well it did worked for a while when I was cycling my tank. I got a little brown juice in the cup the second day that i got it. But nothing after that. So I thought it skimmed all that was in the water. But now that I have a bunch of stuff in my tank, and still nothing being skimmed at all.
If I can do it over again, I think I would have laid down the 150 or 200 clams for the more efficient ones.
