I use it on my 44 gal and it does fine. I have read that the skimmer is not designed for larger aquariums (yours is). I guess it also depends on your bioload.

If your gonna spaend alot of money on a 150G tank stand ext.... don't skimp on the skimmer, get a berlin turbo or something simmlar. Seaclones are OK for small mid size tanks, but not worth it for larger tanks.
