SeaClone skimmer

From what I hear, SeaClone has modified the previous version of their skimmer. For those who have the new version, does it really work better?

Mine works awesome. Pulls out all kinds of junk.

how do u know if it a new version...i just got mine 2mnths ago

it works. that's how you know.
Actually, they redisigned them about a year ago. The center cyclone chamber is about 5 in high. If it's the older style, it's about 10 to 11 in high.

Also, the new ones are in green boxes.

ok i have the new one...and its been running for a bout 1week and running real good

i have one of each and there is a major difference, the new one puls out about 3 times more than the old one. i have to get a dremel and cut the old one down to size.

It works great if you have regular filtration...don't need it with mine. It works great though keep working it. Great skimmer

Actually you can pull out the large inner tube with a pair of long needle nose pliars. It does take some wiggling but it does come out.
Then just use a fine tooth saw.

Mine is a new one and it seems to work real well!
