it should be running continously with your PH. Do you mean how you get it to continually pull crap out of the water

to be honest, it's impossible.
The Venturi isn't your problem. The problem is getting consistent input from your prefilter

I always hear about how no one likes sea clone but I was running one on the 200 and it was pulling TOO MUCH, I had to cut the sucker back on a timer. If the volume isnt enough to make a good cyclone then you are just moving water around, if you have a good fine mist that can grab the desolved solids then you just might have a nice set-up. we all seem to want to go muck around till we get foam so we can feel satisfied its working, but if your good and balanced, then just keep up on your science and let your tests tell you why it is or is not skimming
but thats just my two cents, and hey im an idiot....

I had two seaclones and they always produced, but is was watery and urine colored. New skimmer makes like shaving cream and it's as dark as coffee.
