I am planning on starting a 10 gallon dwarf seahorse aqarium and i need all the help i can get!
First of all, what equipment will i need. Second, what should the water qualities be, such as Ph, Salinity, and others. What chemicals will i need to add to the aqarium. How long should i leave the aquarium cycling before adding the seahorses. Should i add live rock or no. What are good plants that the seahorses would like. What inverts should be added to the tank. What type of lights should i use. Should there be a powerhead in the tank.
Thanks for anyone that replies. I need as much help as i can get.

Rynka how did you setup that tank shown in your first link? Is it live rock of fake rock? I'm looking to set up a 12 gallon for a wildcaught seahorse, and I love yourt ank so much, I might go by its design somewhat

Thank you both!!!
My first tank was a 15 gallon high. Everything in the tank was artificial, except the LS. I designed a marine landscape on the artificial rock by adding DC, tiny shells, and artificial marine plants. I use super glue gel to attach every thing.
Here's a link to my photobucket album:

Dwarf Seahorses
It has all sorts of pics with the projects I put together.
The most important thing I have found is the only live critter in a pony tank is the ponies.
I have housed ponies in 15, 29, 45, and 5 gallon tanks. In the end I liked the 15 gallon high the best. Mainly for ease of feeding. I can give you a list of what the setup consisted of if you like.

Feel free to look through my pony folders. There are a lot of pictures of the process of making the decor for the tank.

Thank you so much!
I have my single little horsie in a fifteen high myself but it is being housed with two very small pipe fish. I would love to see the list and thanks for the pictures
