They are erectus. there is not a ton of flow in this tank. as long as they can hitch they are happy. this is a 24 gallon nano, seahorses need taller rather than longer tanks.

I was wanting to get a sea horse tank but don't want the hasel of rasing live food.

my horses eat frozen mysis. most seahorses available today are tank raised are trained to eat frozen food. I got mine from a women breeding them in her basement.

The firefish is a good tankmate he gets the leftovers. i hand feed the ponys with a small turkey baster they are very tame and even hitch on your finger. I had a bicolor blenny but he kept eating algae off the seahorses which they did not like so I got rid of him.

Mine eat frozen as well. You should definitely get CB ones that are eating frozen.

Yes. Mine are in a 20 but I do have to constantly monitor the ammonia. Seahorse have a huge bioload, so the bigger tank, the better!
