seahorse tank advice/requirements

hi after reading through the seahorse thread i have decided i want a seahorse tank. i know this will not happen for awhile but would like to be prepared. i have a 10 gal that i would like put some dwarf seahorses in i heard this would be ok. what would the requirements be for this tank? also are there any dwarf pipefish that can live in a 10 gal? thank you for the help!

Hi, There are a few people that keep dwarfs, Clevelandseahorse and Rykna and newworldfish. Hopefully they will chime in soon.
I can maybe help a little. 10 gal will be good for a lrg population of dwarfs. There are also dwarf pipes, but I would not mix them unless they come from the same source.
For dwarfs, you need a sterile tank, meaning starting with dead sand and dead rock. You do not want to introduce hydroids to thier tank, they are deadly to dwarfs.
