Seahorse with red algea?

Any seahorse experts know what I should do? I have three Kudas and one seems to be fairly covered with red algea. I have had them for 8 months and all are eating and acting find but it is a little alarming. At first it looked like coraline! Tank parameters are fine and there is little to no other red algea in the tank. RO water, 0 phosphates. Should I try to lightly hand brush off? I just don't want to trigger an infection or something? :notsure: :notsure:

I have handled my seahorses before without any problems. Are you sure it's not just changing colors?

It's algea. I have some surgical prongs that are very sensitive and I picked a peice off. I think I might start with a turkey baster blast to the body?

I would try that. Have you ever checked out seahorse dot org? I'm sure you could find help on there.

It is not unusual for seahorse to grow algae on themselves. If it bothers you, clean it off. However I wouldn't worry about it.
