I have a 3 gallon nano a new kind of tank I recently seen and I want to set it up for a seahorse. Which would be the hardiest starter seahorse to get. At my local fish store they got tankraised black seahorses, dont know the common name, but there eatin frozen. some sugestions and tips would be nice. thanks

a seahorse needs to be in at least a 20 gallon tank.tank raised is the way to go and make sure you see them eat frozen before purchase

"easiest" seahorses are Hippocampus Erectus, in my humble opinion, but they grow to be 8-10 inches long, and need to be kept in a tank around 3 times that deep.
If you seriously want to use the 3 gallon for ponies, dwarfs are your best bet, and you could keep several... only problem is that they are not hardy by any means. They need to have food very nearby and usually only accept brine shrimp, which means hatching baby brine shrimp daily, because adult brine shrimp has virtually no nutritional value, thus starving them to death even though they eat them.
