I have the seahorses but was wondering what live plants or algae can I put in there for the to have? I have two fake plants and a rock in there but am ready to add more for them. Please let me know what they can use.

As long as there is no such thing as a biting or stinging plant, any. chaeto, eelgrass, kelp, mangroves, anything. they like plants, atleast ones they can put there tail around

Of course. Halimeda like nutrient-rich water, thats when they thrive best. So a nice tank with plenty of nurtients, neutral flow (good flow for a horse that is), and lighting would be great for halimeda to grow.
Don't keep halimeda if you have any herbivores that might try and eat it.
They store calcium carbonate and are inedible to (most) herbivores.

Nope only guys in the tank are the seahorses and a few snails right now for cleaning. I had my goby in there but removed him and added him back to the other tank until after we have the babies and there big enough not to eat.

I have some caulerpa in mine..came in as a hitchiker but since I am extremely careful with what I do with my wastewater, I don't mind keeping it. Grows like a week, of course, so I trim occasionally, and the 'horses love it!
If you're willing (and since you have horses, I bet you probably are) to do a little extra work, Gorgonia are perfect hitching posts. You just need a very small p'rhead to direct flow and keep algae from growing, and feed 'em live phytoplankton from time to time.

Yeah,
I have decided I want to do live plants for sure. Just have to work on tracking some that would work down now. It would be for them anyway the tank is not for others

I was already thinking about the Gorgonia for the tank before you wrote that. I am more then willing just have to find the right piece.
