Seahorses in CT

I'm afriad I will have to give away my two ponies to someone who may be able to care for them better than I. It seems I can't find an adequate source of food and can't afford to pay over the internet so if anyone is interested for two free seahorses, e-mail me at oceanfins@sbcglobal.net
I fear they won't survive shipping... and they are wild caught. I fear, once again, i can't get them the proper food so i must resort to finding a new home. thank you :(

Where in CT. Since (as you see by my other post) I just went down the seahorse rd, the more the merrier. What Kind of seahorses? Are they eating frozen or live? Also, I just got back from my lfs. They sold me brine shrimp eggs. Do these work?

re michaelstern: some people have had success but i think its more trouble than its worth.

Sadly... the one attacked by my blenny died the next morning. :(
The last, when i went on vacation i came back to the last one gone too. He hasn't eaten since April so he was no surprise.:(

it happens, you just have to learn from your mistakes... by learning i mean to learn not to do them again and pass your knowledge onto others. I fear that is why i learend so much because i put myself in such a bad position.

Atleast you tried to give them away for free when you realized your mistake......that is respectable. Hopefully when you see a newbie wanting them, you will relate what you learned.:) Some folks refuse to believe that wild caught will die before they will eat frozen foods.....:( Please help push tank raised for that reason and more, and only to those who are ready. Again, I really respect the fact you would give them for free, skip the trying for money part, and try to save the animal.:) Sorry they didn't make it.

thnx sammy, I know I'm not the best at aquarium knowledge but I do really try to do as you recommend. I can't stand to have people make the same mistakes I have. I mean, you don't have enough time to learn all the mistakes in life by yourself, you have kind of skip some of it and just trust other people's 'wisdom', lol. But I do hope my mistake will educate people on better choices.
