Would like to dedicate a 55 with lr & ls to brazilian seahorses and mandrians. Any suggestions towards a happy ending appreciated. Thanks

Usually your not supposed to have any other fish with seahorses but I think a mandrain would be ok. Check out this site www.seahorse.org, and you'll learn all the info you'll need to know about seahorses there, the site has a massage board, info area, ect. Good luck! :)

I think you'll be fine with seahorses and a mandarin or even a pipefish. They won't harm the seahorses. I've heard you can even put a couple of corals in the tank(just make sure they don't sting or can hurt other inhabitants).

I have had a brazillian seahorse in my reef with no issues at all. He's been in there for 2 months. He eats cocepods, and also munches on my blue leg hermits! :) i know that people say not to keep a seahorse in a reef, but mine has been fine. I had a problem with my first seahorse, in that i had an agressive lawnmower blenny who attacked and killed him. Hes gone now, so my seahorse is predator free.
