Seahorses

Has anyone ever tried to raise seahorses in a three gallon eclispse tank. Any pros or cons to this, thinking about doing this.

a three gallon will be too small. They need a lot of verticel space, and some can get very big. They are difcult to care for as well.

Welcome to the board!!
I've never heard of anyone keeping sea horses in a 3 gallon; 8 gallon is about the smallest I've read about.
I believe sea horses are pretty sensitive to water quality issues. Having only 3 gallons of water doesn't provide much latitude for correcting any problems before they could harm the tank inhabitants.

I kept "seahorses" 2 years ago. I had them for 8 months. I purchased my seahorses from "Ocean Rider.com". They are based in Hawaii and they have the best, beautiful, exotic seahorses. I had my 4 seahorses in a 30 gallon tank. They need alot of room because they play and mate alot. They are very sensitive to water perm.
