Seaweed for Tangs

I use to feed my sailfin tang Sea Veggies green seaweed and he loved it. but i went to a new store and saw Seaweed Selects brown marine algae. i thought he would like to try something different. but now he will only eat the brown algae. what i want to know is will it be ok for him to eat only one kind of seaweed.
I also was wondering what everyone else feeds there tangs.
Thank You

It would be better if he had some other sort of greens in his diet like lettuce or something if you an get him to eat any because just one source of seaweed proabably isn't enough for him. When I had a yellow tang I fed him seaweed selects, lettuce, zooplankton, brine shrimp, bloodworms, marine flakes, and marine sinking pellets.

I would stay with the Seaweed Selects. It is a marine algae and has what they need in it. Terrestrial items don't (like lettuce). In fact - lettuce has absolutely zero nutritional value.
Right on about brine shrimp and worms.

i have had 2 yellow tangs (different times) but they both ate green and red seaweed selects they seem to really like the red better than any of it it takes the one I have now about 2 minutes to devoir a 3" by 3" square of and he hunts for more when he is done with it..
