That sounds about right. My seabae has turned completely tan and I have had him about 6 months. I think that the white color means they have released their xoanthella and is not a good sign. Since mine has turned brown, it has eaten part of s shrimp once. I don't think that you have to feed it at all if it is producing it's own food. I really don't feed mine at all. My false clowns do not feed it either. If anything, they like to take any food I try to feed it. I think they survive a lot longer when they turn that tan color. Congrats, but it might move around a lot more since it has more strength. So cover any power heads that it might get into. I think it is a good sign.
