Same w/ the one i had, it woldn't stick i don't know if, They live in sand beds from what I read in clownfish books, but there are so many different anemones going under Sabea, The leather, Hawaian, Laggon, They all can be bought under Sabae, So there reallyi isn't a way to know, I always wanted one, but until you can identify it 100% and know its needs you'll just have to keep buying different anemoes under 1 name

Ya, I had that kind, I honestly am n ot sure but I think they bury there stalk in a deep sand bad and require VERY stong MH lighting becasue the come from shallow water lagoons, Hope that helps and I don't think anyone has kept these with uscess so try and you could be the first...
PS. Sand bed should be at least 3 in.

You can try holding it down onto the sandbed for a minute or two and it should be able to attach itself to the bottom.

They don't attach to the sandbed, the burey there stalk in the substrate, If the Sabea finds a niece spot he'll bury the stalk and only the disc will show, there cool looking when all you see is the tenticals

I got a three to four inch sand bed and lots of live rock.
It at first roamed across the live rock then just started to float where ever.
I called the local store where i bought it and they said to shut off the power heads on one side of the tank and to nicely scoup him over there and not to touch it with my fingers.
tried it. and hopefully it will take i guess.
it was a nice big one when i got, i wish they would take it back so it would not just die here in my tank ?
does anybody know if a clown fish would help at all
I have a small white anemone crab that lived in it when i bought it also.
there are two perclucla clowns (?? spelling ??) in the tank but they never touch either anemone??
thanks all

The sebae is a difficult anemone to keep, even folks with good practical experience have difficulty in keeping them. So far from my research and others experience they truly seem to do better with metal halide lighting. I believe Broomer5 still has his.
You say that you had a BTA that go stuck in a power head? How are the water conditions now?
You also have one anemone to many right now. It is not a good idea to mix species of anmeones. Eventually the will meet each other and there will be war.
I prefer the BTA's and have been keeping them for nearly 4 years now. I'm back up to having 8 of them in my 90 gallon tank.

I took out the percula clowns today and went and bought a tomato clown (spelling ??)
It seems to be trying to help it, it kind of dug a hole and moved the anemones foat in it ??
Hopefully it will live ??
