My Sebae finally started to move around was getting its color back so I was thinking cool finally got used to the tank been in there for 4 months. Today when I woke up it had shrunk down to about a 1/4 of its original size first thing I did was text the water all fine sal 1.025 amm >.03 alk a little below 300ppm ph 8.3 nitrates and nitrites both 0 temp 78 the only new critters I have added are 2 emerald crabs which are nowhere near it. The only change in the Sebae is that is has been getting back its yellow since it has shrunk down it is close to a mustard yellow color. The only major change I have done to the tank is that I bumped the water flow from 11x to 20x and it is nowhere near a powerhead so it is not getting blasted. Is it normal for the sebae to expell water and shrink like this.

Expanding and contracting is normal as long as it isn't doing it too often.
What concerns me is this yellow that you are talking about, there really is no such thing as a naturally occuring yellow sebae. I take that back, there are a few off yellowish colormorphs, even this site has offered what it calls a yellow sebae. From all that I have read on sebae anemones a yellow one would be suspect of being dyed almost immediatly.

Well it returned to its clear yellow color but has gone completely into the rock when I turn the lights off it opens out of the crevice and speads out. I thought they liked strong light I have right at 4.2 wpg need that much for my other corals been in my tank for a long time now 4-5 months this is the first time other than the first week that it has hidden. Dont know should I remove from tank because I cant lower wattage and really dont want it to die and kill other corals or fish
