The emerald I bought, in the span of four months, grew from the size of a dime, to the size of a dollar coin. He was HUGE :notsure: I eventually took him back to the LFS where I bought him, and even they were surprised--I now visit him every other saturday in the 200g display tank they put him in. He was replaced with another small emerald which I've only seen three times--last sighting, saturday afternoon.

I think I have given up on buying anything from my LFS. They are way over priced (even the store that is the cheapest around). From now on I order from SWF!

one of my lfs will do the same. they have a panther grouper thats maybe 1.5" and want $40. there is another store with one like 8" for $50. i dont understand it sometimes. my next order will be from here also. when ever it comes in.
