Sebea turning brown

I have a Purple tip/ white sebea, has been fine for 4 months, now he is turning brown, Started on a few of the tenticles, and now seams to of spread throughout, I thought it was due to the lighting. I run a 65 watt PC smartlamp on a 10 gallon, on my desk at work. Originally he moved a few times, but has been in this spot for 3 months, directly under the light. He is at the bottom of the tank. I usually have the glass top off the tank, as the light takes up most of the area, and it has a plastic cover built in. The other inhabitants in the tank are a tomato clown, that loves the sebea, a anenome crab, that is alwasy in the sebea, and has shed about 6 times sofar. I have a few peices of coral ( Gonoporia, green star pipe, mushrooms, feather dusters, a few pieces of Fiji LR. For filtration I have a Modified Skilter 250 (works great), a Millinium 1000, and a sweeper 214 Power head, Water chemistry is exellent, and I supplement feed the sebea once a week with krill, I also suppliment with the usuall reef additives ( iodine, calcium, trace elements, etc.) Any Ideas would be appreciated. I originally thought the light might be burning him, but he has not moved, and there is shade right next to him.

I used to have a great link for that species. I will have to look for it. When they are bought in the store usually they have bleached (realeased thier Zooxanthellae). They are not supposed to be white. The few that do go on tho live in captivity usually regain this symbiotic algae. This means that it is doing very well and recovering. I will have to find that link. It shows an adult and it is very brown all over.

if your lighting is adequate, it can trigger an outbreak of zooxanthellic activity within the anemone's tissues...which is a GREAT thing. it's similar to my BTA turning dark green after six months in the tank! :)
