Securing Live Rock?

I'm a 2nd time around beginner who several years ago royally screwed things up the first time due to a lot of bad information from LFS. Learned what NOT to do (the hard way).
I am in the planning stages of a mini reef in a 16 gal Bow Front and have a couple of questions about live rock. Do you need to secure live rock and if so what products do you use and how do you do it?

some people super glue the pieces toegther and some balamce the pieces (i fall into this cateagory)
in my opinion glueing is not a good idea because you may need to relocate or remove that rock for some reason.

well... i balance my rockzz but i heard people use fishing line to tie the rocks together...
