Does anyone know how hardy this type of angel is? There is one at my local pet store and I fell in love with it. It is in a tank with a coral beauty right now and they seem to be really good buds. Just wondering how they are to keep. Thanks

Pomacanthus semicirculatus-aka-(Koren angel)
Like many angelfish the semicirculatus changes color when it enters adulthood. As a juvenile it is colored dark blue with lighter blue edging and white semicircular markings. As an adult the color turns grey to light yellow with darker spots. It grows to a maximum of 15 inches (380 mm) in the aquarium.

Thanks Lisa. This tells me it all. I tried to look in my marine book...shows a lot of them but not that exact one. Thank you for your reply. One beautiful fish though all the same. They had at that store two cowfish. Just babies. Cute!! I asked if they were reef safe and they said yes. Never said anything else. Asked what they ate and they said frozen food or flake food. Nothing at all of what my book says about them. They are soo cute though as little as they are. Again thanks for the help.

I've had a Koran for about a year now. Its a very cool fish. The only thing is its very aggresive to other fish, even different species. Somebody told me angels are aggressive as a whole and the Koran is the most aggressive of them all. Mine eats all kinds of food; flake, frozen, pellet, etc.
