Is there any few particular things that zoanthids are reactive to? Reason being, I just got a frag of about 7 polyps, my frist true zoanthids, from the LFS. Its been 3 days and theyre only partially opening. Right now the lights have been on for about 5-6 hours and they arent opened all day. They dont look srawny at all. Is this normal for zoos?

Yep, I just got some bam bam oranges and some tubs blues, they took about 10 days to fully open. Not unusual from what I understand.

Meh, alright. I hate waiting for them hahaha. I expect them to be a little light shocked as well, so Ill give em til the pods start eating at them. Very pretty little ones. Pictures once they decide to open. Is there anything I need to be careful of? I mean I know zoos are hardy, Ive only had palythoas up until this point.

Nothing really, be watchful of any common attackers, zoa spiders, red bugs etc... other than that there is little you need to do but watch.

Okay thanks. I wedged em in a nice spot near the bottom of the tank, theyll be happy. This morning they were peaking out, and that was about 5 minutes after the lights turned on. Today might be the day
