So anyway, my hard drive of 9 months just blew up(seagates starting to act like WD). So I'm in the process of getting all my software back on my new HD. And I have some runtime software I purchased for a guy at work. We purchased it with his CCD and expensed it per our companies policy. But we installed it on my machine.
So I shoot em an email showing them the receipt, tell em my HD crashed and can they reissue me a license for their software. No problem right?
Well those morons won't issue a new license because the software is registered to the guy I was helping. They say their EULA says that the software can only be used by the registered owner, and basically said eff you. ok I'm done ranting now.
