Serpent Vs. Brittle Stars, Which do you preffer? Which is heartier? Which does a better job scavanging?

both!
brittle stars usually will come as hitchikers, but serpent stars are more active. mine comes out of the rock whenever i feed

There is no biological difference between these animals -
Nothing that can be tied to behavior or anything
They are two common names for the same exact group of animals. It would be very misleading to try and associate behaviors to them. I have "serpenstars" I rarely see. This is one thing that truly irks me in this hobby

because it is really truly meaningless.

I knew they were closely related, I just didnt realize they were that close.
